The Last Piece at the Narrows Bridge

This is the last gap in the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge. I shot it from down below on the beach.

During construction I had shot this bridge many times from the observation point at Narrows Park on the Kitsap side.

But on this day I saw men fishing from the beach below the bridge. So I realized that you can walk down the beach to the bridge.

At least I got this one photo. The gap was closed just a few days later.
